About This Project

An open, free tool for comparing dual-use export controls across the US, EU, and Australia, a task otherwise done by hand. It ingests 3,384 entries from three structurally different government sources (including an Australian list recovered from an EPUB, because the site returns empty pages when scraped) into one schema, then renders them side by side with multilateral-regime context, EU General Export Authorisation applicability, an interactive map, and coverage-gap warnings. Holding the sources in one model surfaces cross-source artifacts invisible in any single list. Built solo over a three-day hackathon (Apart Research AIxBio, April 2026) and kept deployed. A navigation aid, not compliance advice. It makes no licensing determinations.
